slo: tour stop 7
San Luis Obispo could have been the best night of the tour so far. Some of us were a bit leery of playing a “brew pub but as it turns out SLO Brewery is a great 300+ capacity venue with a huge stage, killer sound system, lighting, etc. It’s definitely THE place to play in town. As some of you may know McKinley lived and performed in SLO for several years so she was able to connect with old friends who still live in the area.
We started off the night with an in-store performance at Boo Boo’s record store which has an extensive collection of vinyl in addition to all the latest and greatest CD’s. Very cool spot. Then we were off to the show where we played to our biggest crowd of the tour so far. Thanks to all of you who made it out to the show – hopefully we’ll be back soon.
Next stop Santa Cruz.
