1. NEW DIRTY MARTINI SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT:
Dirty Martini will be playing a full band show at the Secret Society Ballroom in Portland on Saturday, November 19th. McKinley and Stephanie will both be playing solo sets along with Lara’s new project A Simple Colony.

3. A Simple Colony on Sept 22nd
Lara’s new project A Simple Colony will be playing a full band show at Secret Society on Thursday, September 22. Sharing the bill will be Lesley Kernochan and her band. A fantastic night of music. Door price $8. Showtime 9pm.

McKinley’s musical about physics and Catholic school is opening at Artists Repertory Theater April 27th and runs through May 30th. In support Dirty Martini will be playing a free show on April 17th from 5 - 7 pm in the beautiful new Artists Repertory Theater lobby . Come and enjoy cupcakes from Cupcake Jones and sake tasting from Sake One. Meet the Gracie cast while Dirty Martini plays. ART will be offering 2 for 1 tickets for “Gracie and the Atom” that night only at the box office.

About Gracie and the Atom:

Dirty Martini’s McKinley has written a rock musical about life, death, physics, and Catholic school. Her show, “Gracie and the Atom” was in the Fertile Ground New Works Festival last month and the CD is now ready! To celebrate Artists Repertory Theater’s announcement that a full production of “Gracie and the Atom” will be included in their 2009/2010 season, McKinley and the cast from the workshop will perform the songs from “Gracie and the Atom.” Come in your best plaid skirts, blue blazers, and white knee socks!
